Network Support Engineer
Role Overview
BISAFA Innovation is an Engineering and Technical Services provider delivering solutions across ICT Infrastructure, Networking, Cloud Services, Automation, Reliability Engineering, and Digital Transformation projects.
The Network Support Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and supporting network infrastructure and communication systems to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient business operations across client environments.
Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and systems.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Support LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and firewall environments.
• Assist with network upgrades, backups, and system maintenance.
• Respond to technical support requests and resolve incidents promptly.
• Maintain network security and user access controls.
• Prepare technical documentation and support reports.
• Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors when required.
Skills Required
• Strong understanding of computer networking and IT infrastructure.
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network security principles.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and customer support skills.
• Ability to work independently and within technical teams.
• Familiarity with Microsoft environments and cloud platforms is an advantage.
• High attention to detail and system reliability.
Education & Certifications
• HND/BSc in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Networking, or related field preferred.
• Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or related certifications are an advantage.
• Relevant technical experience may be considered in place of certifications.
