Quantity Surveyor
Role Overview
BISAFA Innovation is an Engineering and Technical Services provider delivering solutions across Construction Management, Infrastructure Development, Industrial Operations, and Engineering Projects.
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing estimates, monitoring budgets, and supporting cost-effective project delivery across construction and engineering operations.
Responsibilities
• Prepare cost estimates and project budgets.
• Monitor project expenditures and cost performance.
• Prepare bills of quantities and tender documentation.
• Support contract administration and procurement activities.
• Conduct site measurements and valuations.
• Prepare financial reports and project updates.
• Ensure projects remain within approved budgets.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project teams.
Skills Required
• Strong understanding of construction cost management.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Knowledge of quantity surveying procedures and standards.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
• Strong organisational and reporting abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
Education & Certifications
• HND/BSc in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
• Experience within construction or infrastructure projects preferred.
